Allysa Castillo was born in Manila, Philippines, and raised in Orange County, California. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Literature and Writing, graduating magna cum laude from Cal State San Marcos in 2022. During her final semester of college, Allysa interned with the California Justice Corps Program at the Chula Vista Courthouse, where she assisted self-represented litigants in the family department.

In her free time, Allysa enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and cooking.
